why I was chosen to be on the Verbolten Hard Hat Tour

So here is my entry for the social media contest to participate in the hard hat tour for Verbolten at Busch Gardens. Read more here… on the Busch Gardens VA Blog

Yes, I’m a geek!

I cannot be more excited about Verbolten without doing bodily harm to myself and others. I would love to be selected for the tour and will do everything I can to help spread the word about how awesome the ride is, though I am suspecting I won’t have to do much to convince people of that.

Not only do I have a ton of friends who follow me on Facebook, my blog, Google+, and my complicated system of smoke signals throughout the United States and parts of Canada, I am also the kind of person who will tell every single person I see for weeks after something exciting happens that something exciting happened. I go to Busch Gardens weekly when it is open and several times to Howl-o-Scream and Christmas Town. It is one of my favorite places in the country and I love that it is in my backyard.

That said, inviting me to this special tour will cause me to talk about it and post about it more often than all those “What I really do” memes and Jeremy Lin raves put together. As a generally excitable person, I am told that I have great capacity to get others excited all around me and will definitely do my part to spread the Verbolten anticipation! I can go on and on about how much I love roller coasters, how I work for an engineering company, and how learning about the design and physics of the ride will be scientifically interesting to me. But mostly it will just be SWEEEEET!!!

Thanks for reading.
